The VA National Oncology Program (NOP) released its 2023 Program Guide, highlighting VA’s progress and achievements in cancer screening and treatment and its work supporting President Biden’s Cancer Moonshot.

Written and designed by our team, this guide weaves real Veteran ​stories throughout the guide to illustrate how advancements in VA ​cancer care make a difference in the lives of Veterans.

"VA Did That?" Campaign

The “VA Did That?” social media campaign promoted VHA as a national and global leader in health care delivery and innovation. VHA’s scientific and medical breakthroughs benefit not just Veterans but all Americans. The campaign reached more than 530,000 people across all VHA digital channels and was instrumental in helping the program office enroll more than 900,000 Veterans.

The team developed the strategy, design, and framework to launch this monumental and impactful campaign.

Through its I~STAND initiative, VA is taking a stand against sexual harassment and sexual assault and building a culture of safety, empowerment, and advocacy that supports survivors of sexual harassment and sexual assault.

Our team collaborated with ORMDI to conceive, design, and launch the I~STAND brand.

I*DEA Brand Guidelines

I*DEA is VA’s enterprise-wide initiative to ensure inclusion, diversity, equity, and access to underserved and otherwise marginalized communities.

In developing the I*DEA brand, the team collaborated with ORMDI leaders to ​establish the voice, personality, and look and feel of the brand. In a break from ​the red, white, and blue or muted color palettes that are the hallmarks of federal ​government brands, VA embraced a bright color palette that radiates the ​I*DEA’s optimism, friendliness, and authenticity.

The long COVID Fact Sheet, Checklist, and Poster are companion pieces to to VA’s Whole Health System Approach to Long COVID Guide. Helping Veterans identify if they have symptoms of Long COVID and with terminology to help them communicate symptoms to their care team.

Flyers designed by the team are hung in VA Medical Centers across the ​country informing VHA’s 350,000 employees and 6 million Veterans.

Our team collaborated with subject matter experts ranging from physicians to data ​scientists to clinical administrators to develop the content and design of the document.

COVID-19 Operations Plan

As the country moved into the endemic phase of COVID-19, VA developed a COVID-19 Operational Plan to continue providing maximum care to patients while adjusting safety protocols as COVID-19 rates fluctuate locally.

The team worked closely with VA to develop products that helped VA facilities communicate to Veterans, staff, and visitors the safety measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the facility.

Brain Health and Rehabilitation through Artificial ​Intelligence Network (BRAIN) Summit

The VA NAII Summit was created to address the use of AI to improve ​brain health and rehabilitation. The conference highlighted AI’s ​impact on areas of critical importance to Veterans’ health: brain ​cancer, traumatic brain injury, and mental health.


The team worked with VA NAII to support the event and develop conference communications from early planning to final communications.

The magazine outlines VA’s six strategic priorities: hire faster and more competitively; connect Veterans to the soonest and best care; serve Veterans with military environmental exposures; accelerate VA 's journey to a High-Reliability Organization; support Veterans’ whole health, their caregivers, and survivors; and prevent Veteran suicide.

This striking publication utilizes an entirely new color palette and helped inform all VHA ​stakeholders about the USH's goals and how they drive VHA's future.

This Annual Report serves as the benchmark communication product ​for VHA’s National Oncology Program, providing information to media, ​Veterans, VHA staff, and government stakeholders.



Over the course of several months, the team worked across the VHA enterprise to engage VHA senior leaders, clinical programs and services, and subject matter experts in clinical trials and oncology clinical care for ‘hard’ content like goals and data while also sourcing Veteran experiences for inclusion.
